Thomas J. Pyles, 81, passed away June 19, in Kalispell. Tom was born in West Virginia July 15, 1935 and at age 13 moved to Montana. He loved hunting, fishing and singing. He met and married Bernadine Snyder and they had six children. After the passing of Bernadine, he fell in love and married Sandi Gikiere in 2008. He lived in Martin city for the greater part of his life where he was greatly known and loved. Tom was a loving father for not only his own children but considered a father figure to many, many others.
Tom was preceded in death by his late wife Bernadine, son Brian Pyles and 9 siblings. He is survived by his wife Sandi, sons Tom Pyles Jr. (Beth), Russ Pyles (Lisa), daughters Linda Trumble (Gary), Susan Jones (Monte), and Audrey Snyder. Step children Anthony Lufkin (Staci), Jennifer Gikiere, and Ryan Gikiere (Summer). Ten grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, sister Norma Engbretson (Maurice), numerous nieces and nephews and adopted extended family.
