Zeola Glover McGill, 98, passed away Saturday, February 5, 2022 . Born in Guilford County she was the daughter of the late Carley Glover and Dora Simpson Glover.

She graduated from Dudley High School, furthered her education at Teachers College in Winston Salem, and graduated with a Masters Degree from NC A&T State University. She spent most of her life as an educator in Georgia. She was married to the late Reverend Shelly McGill who was a beloved Principal and Pastor also in Georgia.

She was a devoted lifelong member of Holsey Chapel C.M.E. Church in Fitzgerald, Georgia.  Holsey Chapel was the church her husband pastored for many, many years. 

Those left to cherish her memory are her niece Rhea (Tyrone) Thompson, her grand -niece who was like a daughter to her, Talayna (Lawrence) Watkins, five great-great nephews; Steven Thomas II, Kyle Watkins, Cole Watkins, Tali Thomas, Lawrence Watkins III, one great-great niece Talia Watkins, and her church family who loved and supported she and her husband throughout their entire adult lives.
