James A. Cantrell, 65, passed away on Monday, February 9, 2015 at his home in Stevensville of complications from cancer.
Jim was born on September 7, 1949 in Niangua, Missouri, the son of Henry and Jessie Cantrell. He graduated from Niangua High School in 1969 and joined the U.S. Air Force. He retired at Malmstrom Air Force Base in 1993 after serving 24 years. Jim enjoyed his retirement, but later returned to the workforce, working for the Great Falls Transit for several years until retiring again. He then moved to Stevensville to be closer to his grandchildren, the loves of his life.
Jim is survived by his wife, Barb of Stevensville; sons, Kevin of Stevensville and Shane of Great Falls; sister, Lola of Marshfield, Missouri; grandchildren, Cassidy, Logan, Zachary, Triston and Connor; numerous nieces and nephews.
