Lew grew up in Earlville where he attended High School. He worked much of his life as a truck driver and at the time of his death he was employed by Somont Oil of Oilmont, MT. Five years ago, Lew met his love, Christine, and had given her a promise ring before his passing. He was a fun guy who was known for his love of music. He enjoyed playing his guitar and riding his motorcycle. Lew liked to relax by listening to classic rock while enjoying a cold beer with his friends and family. He loved camping and boating with his family, playing pool, and golfing. His dog, Barron, brought him so much joy and was his baby. His daughters and their happiness were always the most important thing to him.

He is survived by his life partner, Christine Innocci of Conrad; four daughters, Jill Miller Pelka of Lasalle, IL Jessica Miller Peterson of Depue, IL, Jennifer Miller Nosalik and Lindsay Miller, both of LaSalle, IL; parents, Roger & Betty Miller of Earlville, IL; brothers, Mike (Alice) Miller of Conrad, MT and Ritch (Zora) Miller of Maricopa, Arizona; sisters, Connie Miller Brown of Triumph, IL, Sandy Miller Carr of Orange, Texas; several nieces, nephews and cousins; 14 grandchildren and one great-grandson.

He is preceded in death by his brother-in-laws, Larry Brown, Jeff Hoebing and Charlie Hoebing.
