Laura M. “Dee” Mincemoyer, 99, was called home to be with her Lord on Monday, January 7, 2008 at Kramm Healthcare Center, Milton where she had been residing the past four years. She had previously lived at RD6 Muncy for over 40 years.
Born in Delaware Twp., northumberland County on December 7, 1908, she was the daughter of the late Percival A. and Alice L. (Watson) Heintzelman. Her husband, Clarence R. Mincemoyer died April 14, 1983 following 55 years of marriage.
A homemaker all her life, she was a member of Clinton Baptist Church, Montgomery. She loved to read, play cards with family and friends and traveling. She also enjoyed flowers, and had quite a “green-thumb” with her flower gardens.
Surviving are three daughters: Beatrice bieber, Muncy; Thelma Haught, Allenwood; and Dorothy Gordner, Jersey Shore; 8 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 21 great-great grandchildren; and one great-great-great grandchild.
The last of ten children, she was preceded in death by a brother, Glenn and eight sisters: Hazel, Pearl, Edna, Esther, Blanche, Olive, Grace and Maude.
