Grace Van Brunt PinkhamRetired Registered NurseMELROSE, MA –PINKHAM – Grace V. Pinkham died Saturday, December 8, 2007. She was the loving wife of the late Harry G. Pinkham. Grace was born August 20, 1924 in Elmhurst, NY. She was the daughter of the late Theresa Boyle-Van Brunt and the late Ralph Van Brunt. Grace graduated from The Lenox Hill Hospital School of Nursing in NY, and spent many years in the nursing profession. She was a 1st Lieutenant in the U.S. Army Nurse Corps and served in the Korean War in a Mobile Army Surgical Hospital (MASH). After her war service she resumed her education and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing Education from Hunter College in NY. Grace was a member of the Colebrook Congregational Church and belonged to the Women’s Fellowship Group. Grace leaves a devoted sister, Alice Skinner; a grandson, Dylan Pinkham and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Mary V. McDougall and Jane V. Fitchett.
