Carrie M. Heater, 81, of Fisher Drive, Watsontown, passed away Saturday, March 15, 2008 at her home.
Born October 19, 1926 in rural Fleetwood, Berks County, she was the daughter of the late Earl C. and Gertrude M. (Cronrath) Seidel. On January 19, 1946 she married Ralph S. Heater and they have celebrated 62 years of marriage.
A 1944 graduate of Muhlenburg High School, she retired from Spring Window Fashions, Montgomery in 1991.
Carrie was a member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Watsontown since 1970. She enjoyed gardening, knitting, and sewing.
Surviving besides her husband are three sons: Jay R. Heater and his companion Francine Bishop; Ralph C. Heater and his wife Debra, all of Watsontown; and Gary L. Heater and his wife Gina of Allenwood; a daughter and son-in-law: Linda J. and Wayne Dentler, Watsontown; 9 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; three brothers: Richard L. Seidel and Barry L. Seidel, both of Fleetwood; and Jerry C. Seidel, Morris; and three sisters: Anna Mae Bisbach, Sun City Coast, Fla.; Florida F. Youse and Patricia J. Noll, both of Fleetwood. She was preceded in death by three brothers: Earl M. in 2007, Harold C. in 2006, and Marvin in 1976 and a sister, Betty J. Hetrick, this year.
