Zoran G. Panich, of Lafayette, passed away, Sunday morning, June 5th, following an extended illness.
He was born December 23, 1941, in Leskovac, Yugoslavia. He received his degree in Pharmacy from the University of Belgrade in 1971. He later immigrated to the United States and, in 1982, he became a United States citizen. He owned and operated Panich Construction and later became an avid investor.
Zoran enjoyed spending time with his loving family, traveling and gardening.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra, of 45 years, his daughter, Michelle (Matt) Horton and sons Stephen (Emily) Panich and Jordan (Lacie) Panich. He leaves a legacy of six grandchildren who will miss him dearly, Taylor and Payton Horton, Amelia and Sophia Panich and Ryder and Ellie Panich. He is also survived by his brother, Slavo, of Bonita Springs, FL; nephews, Nick and Mike; niece, Mara, and their families.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Drago and sisters-in-law, Judy and Susie.
