Our beloved Zora Logan passed away peacefully while sleeping at Life’s Care of Treasure Valley in Boise, on Friday, May 5, 2017, at age 76, following a five-year disability as a result of a stroke.
Zora was born November 9, 1940, at Caldwell, Idaho, the daughter of Manly “Doc” and Opal Deering. Zora graduated from Caldwell High School in the Class of 1959. Zora was wonderful about keeping in touch with many of her classmates over the years and enjoyed class reunions as long as she was able to attend.
Zora was married in a beautiful wedding ceremony at Cathedral of the Rockies in Boise to John C. Logan from Payette, Idaho, on August 10, 1963. John and Zora were first introduced to each other at the Cathedral of the Rockies where they both attended. At that time John especially enjoyed Zora’s singing in the choir.
