Zola Stomm, 101, of New Carlisle, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2006, in Hamilton Communities, New Carlisle.
Zola was born December 19, 1904, in Covington, Indiana, to the late James and Kate (Barkley) Baldwin. As Zola Baldwin, she married Homer Stomm, who preceded her in death on August 12, 1986. Along with her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Ruth Hayden, Roberta Howard and Genevieve Elgin; and by two brothers, Malcolm and Lowell Baldwin.
Zola is survived by three nieces, Betty (Mac) Olson of Florida, Beverly Farver of Ashley, Indiana and Connie Lohmeyer of Lafayette, Indiana; and by several great nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Stomm was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Daughters of American Revolution. She helped the Red Cross, where she was a driver for families in need during WWII.
