Zephia Fay (Williams) Bock was born October 27, 1933, in Chicago, Illinois.

She spent most of her youth in Cardston, Alberta Canada before moving to Southern Utah.

She attended Mesa Community College in Grand Junction, Colo; Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah and the University of Southern California, where she graduated with her degree in Physical Therapy.

She met the love of her life Leonard Bock and they were married in 1964, settling in Palm Springs, California, with their three kids; Elaine, Sterling, and Sandy.

Fay was a socialite in Palms Springs and was involved in everything from the opera guild to political groups; she enjoyed cooking, entertaining, and golfing.

She was an avid world traveler. She had a sense of adventure that was unmatched, with many pictures and stories to prove it.

Daily, she never met anyone that whom she didn’t leave a lasting impression. Fay had friends all over the world that she continued to remain in contact with for years. To her, there were no strangers, just friends she hadn’t met yet.

Later in life, she moved to Grand Junction, Colo. Where she spent her time gardening in her backyard and traveling up to the mountains where she had her mountain garden of raspberries and gooseberries. Her little cabin evoked memories of her youth in Canada.

Proceeded in death by her parents; sister, Connie, and brothers Don and Ray. She is survived by her sister, Ronaye Danler (Peter Smarr); Daughter, Elaine (Jeff) Smith, Son; Sterling (Debra) Bock, Daughter, Sandy Bock. Eight Grandkids, and multiple Great-grandkids.

The family would like to thank the caregivers and team at HopeWest for their great care in making her end-of-life journey a beautiful one.
