Mrs.
Zelma Davis Brown was born November 20, 1921. She was second of eight children born to loving parents, Benjamin Davis and Alberta Crumbley Davis. She received her formal education in Macon, Tennessee.
Zelma moved to California in 1944 where she found employment at Ryan Aeronautics. In 1948 she was united in Holy Matrimony with her husband, Johnnie Moran Brown. Zelma was one who loved to travel and enjoyed shopping as well.
On Friday, January 18, 2013 the Good Lord called her home. She leaves to cherish her precious memory: her husband, Johnnie M. Brown; sister, Thelma Lewis; brother, Sam Davis of Memphis, Tennessee as well as a host of other nieces, nephews and other relatives.
At the gates of heaven, she will be greeted by her parents, and brothers Earle, George, Leonard and Benjamin Davis, Jr. and sister Velma Smith.
