Yvonne M. Rohlfsen, age 71, of Milford, passed away Saturday, July 25, 2009, at Lakes Regional Healthcare in Spirit Lake. She was born on January 15, 1938, in Washington, DC, to Wallace and Arline (Rolston) English. Yvonne graduated from Hartley High School in 1956, and then went on to further her education at NBT in Sioux City. She was united in marriage to Jim Rohlfsen on April 11, 1958, in Sheldon, Iowa.
Yvonne worked at the Milford Elementary School for sixteen years as a secretary. Yvonne was a member of Union Memorial Church. She helped by volunteering at Lakes Regional Healthcare, meals on wheels and as a mentor for Kinship. Yvonne enjoyed spending her spare time singing, golfing, dancing, cooking, traveling, shopping and going to garage sales, but her true passion was her family. Yvonne is survived by her husband, James Rohlfsen of Milford
