Yvonne Marie Spealman, 70, of Wataga, died Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at home.
Yvonne was born February 2, 1945 in St. Paul, MN, the daughter of Charles Wesley and Gladys Dorothea Nadeau Fox. Yvonne married the love of her life John R. Spealman, Jr. on November 11, 1972 in White Bear Lake, MN. He preceded her in death on March 19, 2015. Yvonne is survived by one son, Randy (Corrine) Dunn of Linolakes, MN; one brother, John Fox of St. Paul, MN; and two sisters, Patricia Marier of Shoreview, MN and Carletta Fox of St. Paul Park, MN. She is also survived by her loving grandchildren, Cassandra (Glenn) Yoder and Anthony John (Courtney) Dunn; four great grandchildren, Kiryn and Annie Yoder and Wesley John and Owen Dunn; and five nephews and one niece. Along with her husband, Yvonne was preceded in death by her parents and two nephews.
Yvonne was a beautician for several years and also was an instructor at a beauty school while living in Burlington, IA. After moving to the Galesburg area, Yvonne worked at Hy-Vee for several years prior to her retirement. Yvonne loved her dogs, feeding birds and collecting antiques.
