Yvonette Vital, 69, was called to the Lord April 13th, 2022, at her Irvington home where she resides with family.
Yvonette was born May 12th, 1952, in Desdunes, Haiti. In 1982, she came to the United State and settled in New Jersey. All while carrying her oldest daughter. Yvonette was well known for taking care and providing for her family. She was born with resilience, perseverance, and a gift of bringing people together.
Yvonette enjoyed cooking and sharing her meals throughout the community with open arms. She also loved going to church and helping others. Yvonette adored her grandchildren Sade, Milleyana, Amala, Emily, and Peter. She spent weekends telling them old stories and teaching them life lessons.
From early age Yvonette taught her children the value of family. Keeping everyone together and always resolving family issues “Ou Baka achte fanmi nan maket” she use to say. She leaves behind 4 Daughters and 1 Son: Lojance, Fara, Farmouth, Chorness, and Allriche.
Yvonette spent her summer weekends on religious retreats, living a God first lifestyle. She touched everyone around her, and her energy was felt when she would walk into a room.
Everyone knew Yvonette as a strong spirited person who never gave up. She prayed every day for everyone, praying God healed her people’s pain and suffering.
To a loving mother and grandmother, there are no goodbyes for us, wherever you are, you will always be in all of our hearts.
