Yufang Sun passed away on March 15, 2015 at the age of 80. Yufang was born September 8, 1934 in Shanghai, China. Through self-perseverance and hard work, Yufang, from a mill girl at a textile factory, put herself through college, worked as a designer of fabric-making equipment, and eventually became the Director of Shanghai Textile Machinery Research Institute. After retirement, Yufang immigrated to the United States to be close to her children and grandchildren. Yufang is survived by her daughter Chi Chen, son Pu Chen, and 4 grandchildren: David, Steven, Kevin and Vivian.
