Yolanda Deniece Payton was born on October 16, 1967, in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was the daughter of Ernestine Payton and David Howard. Her father preceded her in death.
She received her formal education in the Indianapolis Public School System, completing her studies at George Washington High School. “Niecey” as Deniece was affectionately known to family and friends, accepted Christ as her Savior at an early age. She was a loving, caring and kind woman who always helped others whenever she could.
Niecey was a hardworking and devoted mother of ten beautiful kids.
Yolanda Deniece Payton departed her earthly life on March 16, 2021.
Niecey leaves to cherish her memory, sons Jermaine Payton, Kevin Payton, Keith Payton, Andre Payton, Kris Payton, Alex Payton, Keyon Payton and daughters Shamila Payton, Tasha Payton and Niyah Payton, (6) grandchildren, (4) brothers Price Payton, Raymond Payton, Andy Howard and David Howard, (4) sisters Phyllis Flagg, Michelle Payton, Charlene Howard and Tina Howard, (2) sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews and a host of cousins, and other beloved extended family and friends.
