Yettie Foster Hayes passed away on March 27, 2015 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center Neptune, NJ.  She was born on June 28, 1933 in Randolph, VA, to the late Deacon George Foster and Mollie Freeman Foster.

She grew up in Charlotte County Virginia.   Yettie was baptized at an early age and was a member of the Henry Presbyterian Church.  She moved to New Jersey after completing High School in 1951, at which time she joined Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Neptune, NJ.

She worked for Manhattan Cleaners of Asbury Park for many years as a tailor.  She was also employed as a seamstress and bookkeeper for Nappa Smith, Atlantic Highlands New Jersey.

Yettie was predeceased by her parents; husband, John W. Hayes III; one great grandson, Tramell Harrison; eight brothers, James, George, Leonard, Willie, Tommy, Mathew, Robert, and Clem; and three sisters, Anna Jane, Nannie, and Marie.

She leaves to cherish her precious and loving memories, her children, Sheila Patterson, Beatrice Jackson, Robert Davis, John Anthony Jackson, and Douglas Hayes; son in law, Robert Patterson; six grandchildren, Sharnette Harrison, Bobby Davis Jr., Troy Patterson, Branden Patterson, Kadeem Davis, and Kadejah Davis; two great grandchildren, Trevaun Harrison, and Naim Davis; two brothers, Russell Foster, and Ralph Foster; two Sister in laws, Mary and Barbara Foster;  other family, Jane and Williiam Brooks, Malcom Jones, Diane and Chazz Fellenz; and a host of very special nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
