Yana S. Baas, 38, of Hudson, passed away January 17, 2013 in Brighton. She was born in Aurora, CO to Ronn Bailey and Eva (Heazlett) Spence on January 9, 1975. She graduated from Heritage High School in 1993 and attended North Eastern College. She married Chad Baas on August 30, 1997 in Loveland, CO.
Yana was working for the State of Colorado as a Brand Inspector for the last eight years. Her passion in life was her horses. She enjoyed team roping and training horses and loved being a great mother.
Yana is survived by her grandmother, Eline Heazlett of Lakefield, MN; parents, Phil and Eva Spence of Elbert, CO; father, Ronn Bailey of Boulder City, NV; her husband, Chad Baas of Hudson; daughter, Harley Ann Baas of Hudson; two brothers, Tim Spence of Austin, TX and Ivan Spence of Limon, CO and her twin Sister Jessica Bailey of Boulder City, NV.
