Xantippie Robbins Cheek, 78, of Franklinville, died Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington.
Xantippe was born in Asheboro on August 3, 1942 to the late T. F. and Kathrine Robbins. She was employed in a hosiery mill earlier in life, then was the shoe store manager at K-Mart for several years, and then helped manage her son’s business. She loved her family and was always helping out family, friends and sometimes strangers in various ways. Most people called her “Mama”.

Cheek III, David Lambeth, Jr., Andrew Lamar and wife, Marit, great-grandchildren, Betsey Ann Lamar, Emersyn Fogleman, and Brooks Lamar.
