Wladimir “Walter” Sulimenko, 81, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, November 9, 2018, at St. Luke’s University Hospital, Fountain Hill. He was the loving husband of Alice (Semanchik) Sulimenko, with whom he shared nearly 53 years of marriage.
Born in Harkow, Ukraine, Walter was the son of the late Sergei and Eugenia (Hotwianska) Sulimenko. He served in the US Air Force. A resident of New Jersey for most of his life, he worked as a mechanical inspector for Lockheed Electronics and for Ohaus Scale. Walter enjoyed life – the simple joys of life. From spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, to working around his neighborhood and spending time with friends, he always made people laugh and smile. He will be forever missed by his friends and family.
Survivors: wife Alice; daughter Lara Sulimenko Pham and her husband John of Virginia Beach, VA; sister Mary Bibikow of Waltham, MA; brother Alexander Sulimenko of Howell, NJ; grandchildren Nicholas and Zoey. Walter was predeceased by his son, Greg Sulimenko, and by his brothers Iwan and Andre.
