Winifred L. “Winnie” Warner, a longtime Moscow resident, died Thursday, November 3, 2016 at Good Samaritan Moscow Village. She was 96. She was born November 27, 1919 in Dayton, Ohio to Harry and Beryl Irwin Loeb. She attended school in Dayton, graduating from Fairview High School. She received a degree from Miami Jacobs Business College. After a brief career in the business world, she married Richard E. Warner on July 3, 1943 in Dayton. They moved to Moscow in the late 1960’s when Richard accepted a position as a Mechanical Engineering Professor at the University of Idaho. Winnie was a long time member, and past president of Gritman Medical Center Auxiliary. She also was a member of Chapter O, P.E.O.
