Dunn,Winifred T. (Saitta), 59, of Jersey City, died of ALS, commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s disease, on May 19, 2016.
Winnie was born on November 12, 1956 at Lennox Hill Hospital, New York, NY, to Mary Saitta and the late Paul Saitta. Winnie grew up in East Williston, Long Island, attended Our Lady of Mercy High School and Marist College, where she met her husband of 36 years, William Gerard Dunn. She spent 30 years working at ABC in television production for shows like “One Life to Live”, “The City”, “Good Morning America” and “20/20.” Most recently she worked at her passion of fitness as a Barre Instructor at Vitality Fitness in Ridgewood, NJ, and in other studios over northern New Jersey. She is survived by her two daughters, Casey and Taylor, one son, Billy Jr., and her loving and supportive husband, Billy Sr.
Winnie, aka Big Mama, will be remember for always having a smile on her face and projecting positive energy to those around her.
