Winfred “George” Lee Washington, 82, died Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at Williamsburg Healthcare in Crawfordsville following prolonged health issues.
He leaves his wife of 63 years, Sharon (Burk) Washington; his brother, Jimmy Langley and his wife Doris; his sister, Patty Hughes and her husband, Ryan; his son, Clifford Washington and his wife, Ivy; three grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Marie Stobaugh and his daughter, Deborah Washington.
Born in Muhlenberg County, KY, the son of Marie Stobaugh, he lived most of his life around Crawfordsville, IN. He retired from R.R. Donnelley and Sons after 22 years of service.
Winfred had many hobbies, including raising animals, attending flea markets, spending time with family, and attending blue grass festivals.
