Wilodene Stephens Barnette, age 90 of Birmingham, AL passed away on March 27, 2011. She was a member of Kingwood Church in Alabaster, AL and was formerly a member of Ruhama Baptist Church and South Roebuck Baptist Church. She retired as a teacher from the Birmingham School System with 30 years of service. She is survived by her son, Stephen Barnette (Sissy); daughter, Lynne DeShazo (Danny); grandchildren, Melissa Kittrell, Stephanie Fountain, Leigh Morgan, Joey Barnette, and Kendall Knight; 6 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
