Went peacefully to be with her Lord Tuesday morning, February 9, 2016. Wilma was born February 16, 1933 in Kalamazoo the daughter of Wubbo and Catharina Schipper. Wilma was an active lifetime member of Grace Christian Reformed Church and enjoyed volunteering at church and with the Kalamazoo Christian Schools.
On November 11, 1955 she was united in marriage to her loving husband Howard, who survives. Also surviving are her children, Jim (Mary) Koning, Jenny (Bernie) Scheffers, Catherine (Jim) Meeuwse; 9 grandchildren, Ryan (Kaitlin) Koning, Heather (Michael) Paas, Stacey Koning, Lindsey (Nick) Muller, Matt (Liz) Scheffers, Kelly Montague, Holly Laird, Eric Meeuwse, and Megan Meeuwse; sisters, Jean (Herm) Visker, Marilyn (Bob) Musselman, Carol Schipper; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her sister and brother, Rena Penny and Chris Schipper.
