Mrs. Gamble was born October 31, 1924 in South Whitley, IN to Earl and Goldie Henemeyer Shaffer. Her parents preceded her in death.
Mrs. Gamble married James Gamble on October 31, 1946. Mr. Gamble survives in Huntington.
Mrs. Gamble graduated high school and she earned a Cosmetology License. She was a State Board Inspector for beauty shops. She was a self- employed beautician and owner of Cut & Curl in Huntington. After retirement, she resided in Florida with her husband for 22 years. Mrs. Gamble was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Huntington, IN.
Survivors include two sons, Richard “Rick” (Lana) Gamble, Warren, IN and Tim (Sarah) Gamble, Bippus, IN; one daughter, Michelle (Dave) Mauger, Anderson, SC.
She was also survived by one sister, Wanda (Cliff) Olinger, New Haven, IN; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. An infant brother, Chester Shaffer and one sister, Dorothy Bennett preceded her in death.
