Willis Hall Hastings, 87, of Rising Sun, IN, passed away at 10:25 PM, Saturday, December 26th, at Dearborn County Hospital in Lawrenceburg, IN. Willis was born in Cincinnati, OH on December 7, 1922, a son of the late Vesta (Bovard) Hastings and Floyd Hastings. On 12/31/1942 he married Janet (Lischkge) Hastings who preceded him in death. He served in the U.S. Army and was a Graduate of Aurora High School, Class of 1940. Willis retired from Seagrams Distillery in Lawrenceburg, IN.
Willis is survived by
a daughter, Cheryl, wife of Jerald McMullen, of North Vernon, IN.
a son,Stephen, husband of Linda Hastings, of St. Joseph, MI;
He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and by 7 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents , his wife, and by 2 brothers, Roscoe & William Hastings.
