Willie R. Strange, 94, of Anderson, passed away on April 21, 2013 at the Rawlins House in Pendleton. He was born on February 17, 1919 in Glens Fork, Kentucky and resided most of his life in Anderson. Willie retired from Delco-Remy Division of General Motors after 34 years of service. He served his country in the U.S. Army Air Corp during W.W. II. Willie was a member of Whetstone Christian Church.
He is survived by his sons, Chuck Sue Strange of Anderson, and Dean Bridget Strange of Yorktown; grandchildren, Joshua Beth Strange, Justin Whitney Strange, and Matt Katie Strange; great-grandchildren, Colt, Emily, Jacob, and Ryan Strange. sister, Catherine Dunlevy; nieces and nephews also survive. Willie was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Jent Strange, and brothers, Willard and Shelby Strange.
