Willie Edward Linster, Sr. 87, of 2164 Creasey Chapel Road, Stuart, died Wednesday, May 12, 2010, at Pioneer Community Hospital of Patrick County, Stuart, Va. He was born in Forsyth County on August 28, 1922 to the late Thomas Edgar and Gracie Fulp Linster. He was also preceded in death by his son Cletus James Linster; sisters, Pauline Andrews, Erma King, and Ivy Linster; brothers, Calvin, George, Thomas, Jr., Herman, Bruce, and John Linster, Sr. He retired from the Masonite Corporation where he worked as a maintenance supervisor. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII and a member of the Greater Tabernacle of Praise where he served as a senior deacon. Surviving is his wife Cledious K. Linster of the home. Daugthers and sons-in law; Dorothy Linster of Blackstone, Virginia; Carolyn Daniels and husband Taylor of Statesville, NC; Gloria Minor of Statesville, NC; and Stephanie Hatcher and husband Paul of Stuart. Sons and daughters-in-law; Willie Linster,Jr and wife Ada of Walnut Cove, NC; Herman Linster and wife Darlene of Stuart; Thurman Linster of Stuart; Andrew Linster and wife Kimberly of Stuart. Sistsers; Billie Linster of Walnut Cove, NC and Barbara Warren of Stokesdale, NC; Sisters-in –law; Rosie Reynolds and husband James of Patrick Springs, Juanita Smith of Martinsville;Brother-in-law; Nathaniel King of Walnut Cove, NC; twenty- six grandchildren; forty-three great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.Special granddaughter; Joanne Hatcher and husband Tim.
