Willie J. Daigle 87 of Leominster died Sunday May 17, 2009 in Sterling Healthcare in Sterling, MA. He was born on August 2, 1921 in St. Charles, New Brunswick, Canada, was the son of Fidile and Ozelie Daigle. Mr. Daigle was in the Canadian Army serving in WWII. He worked as a Quality Controller for the former Digital Corporation in Westminster, MA. Mr. Daigle is survived by a son Raymond Daigle and his wife Rebecca of Napa, CA, a daughter Elizabeth “Betty” Sims and her husband Chaille of Leominster, a brother Louis Daigle of Leominster, three sisters Theresa Pratt of Ottawa, Canada, Nathalie Thompson of Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada, and Ida Melanson of two grandchildren Nicole Daigle and Spencer Daigle. He was predeceased by his wife Georgina (Eagle) Daigle in 2002.
