William Wayne Lopez, Sr.Bay City, Michigan
Mr. Lopez passed away Friday morning July 13, 2012 at Brian’s House, age 64. The son of the late Ynez & Belma (Dietlein) Lopez, he was born August 4, 1947 in Bay City. William served with the U.S. Navy during Vietnam and was currently a member of the American Legion Post #18. He was retired from General Housing Corp. William enjoyed golfing and playing cards.
On February 26, 1966 William married Anna M. Snellenberger and she survives him along with four sons, Joseph (Kimberly) Lopez and Ernest Lopez, both of Bay City, Scott Lopez of Flushing and William W. Lopez, III of Saginaw; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; seven brothers and three sisters; one brother-in-law and two sisters-in-law; his mother-in-law; and several nieces & nephews. Besides his parents, William was also preceded in death by a son, William W. Lopez, Jr. in 1988; and two brothers-in-law.
