W.L. Winkles , 84 of Newnan passed away Friday, November 21, 2014 at Piedmont Newnan Hospital. He was born in Coweta County, GA to the late Jessie and Flora (May) Winkles. He was preceded in death by his wife Elsie (Barnes) Winkles. He served in the Army during the Korean War, he was at the front lines in the RCT during combat in South Korea. He was a member of Sargent Baptist Church for 40 plus years Mr. Winkles is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
