William V. Zemitis of Burlington passed away in Virtua Hospital, Mt. Holly on October 5, 2013 at the age of 93. A lifelong Burlington resident, he worked as an engineer/draftsman for Burlington Electric. He went on to become an Officer for the company.
Bill was dedicated to his faith and served as an Adult Sunday School Teacher at both the 1st Baptist Church of Burlington and 1st Baptist Church of Willingboro. He continued to serve the lord by being a member of the Gideons. Bill also served as President of the Beverly Senior Citizens Club.
Predeceased by his wife of 67 years, Lillian (nee: Burnham), he is survived by his son and daughter in law Bill and Cyndy Zemitis; grandchildren: Scott Zemitis, Col. Darrell Zemitis, Tracey Schaefer, Katie Mack, Meg Puglisi; 9 great-grandchildren; nieces Effalon McConnell, Patricia Tocci, Dolores Anchak.
