William Connard Thompson, age 82, of Manassas Park, VA died Sunday, May 18, 2003 at Hospice of Northern Virginia, Arlington, VA. He was a member of Westover Baptist Church, Manassas. Mr. Thompson was preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph C. Thompson and Franklin Thompson. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Kathrene M. Thompson, one son, Michael L. Thompson and his wife, Margaret of Springfield, VA, two daughters, Mary Ann Heit, of Fairfax, VA and Brenda L. Vale and her husband, Daniel of Charlotte, NC, one sister, Telitha Crawford, of Woodruff, SC. Also surviving are 3 grandchildren, Stacy Chy, Tina Phillips and Danielle Vale, and three great-grandchildren, Maurica Parker, Bethany Phillips and William Chy.
