Stephens1928~2021William T., age 93 of Media, Pa passed away on May 2, 2021William was a talented and precise machinist with a natural sense to diagnose and repair problems on sheet metal working machines. He, and his Dad founded L. J. Stephens & Son, Inc. Incorporated in PA in 1960. A company that continues to produce high quality parts and services to industry. Around 1960 he was one of the original members of a group called the Delhi Kart Club, a go kart racing group. He was an avid boater and enjoyed spending his summer weekends on the Chesapeake Bay. William also loved to fly his Piper aircraft. Often traveling a hundred miles for breakfast at a neighboring airport. Although, not a traditional sports fan, if it had wheels or a propeller he had to drive it fly it or at least take a ride. William was a member of the Mason’s Lodge 529 St. Albans Lodge.Survived by his beloved wife of 71 yrs. Sally (nee Slater) Stephens; his loving children Howard J. Stephens (Rose), and Sally Stephens-Jefferson (John); his 6 adoring grandchildren David, Phillip and Allison Stephens; Christi, Lori and John J. Jefferson; also his 4 cherished great grandchildren Cameron, Kennedy, Amelia and Brooks.
