WILLIAM HORACE STRICKLAND, age 78 of Manassas Park, VA died Friday, August 16, 2002 at his home. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eula Mae Strickland who died in 1973 and one son Harold W. Pilkington. Survivors include one son, Timothy Strickland of Manassas Park, one sister Violet Davis of Smithfield, NC, three brothers Charles E. Strickland of Clayton, NC, Bobby Kenneth Strickland of Smithfield, NC, and Hoover B. Strickland of Smithfield, NC, a longtime friend Marie McCauley of Manassas, VA and her children Lynn McCauley, Shorty McCauley, and Jackie Thomas. Also surviving are 4 grandchildren Danny Pilkington, Kyra Potts, Michael Pilkington, T. J. Strickland, 4 great-grandchildren and the grandchildren of Ms. McCauley.
