William “Bill” R. Bartels, Jr., 55, of Chadwick Beach, Toms River Twp., passed away Thursday, March 12, 2015. Born and raised in Bayonne, NJ, he moved to Chadwick Beach in 1985. Bill and his wife, Robyn, currently owned Chadwick Island Beach Marina since 2004.
He was a parishioner of St. Catharine RC Church, Seaside Park. He was predeceased by his father William R. Sr. Bill is survived by his wife of 23 years Robyn (nee Zbranak), his 3 children William III, Cody and Kelsey, his mother Alice Bartels of Chadwick Beach and 2 brothers Michael of Colts Neck and Robert of Toms River.
