WILLIAM R. ALSPAUGH
William R. Alspaugh, 67, of Boiling Springs, died Wednesday, August 29, 2012 in Carlisle Regional Medical Center.
Born June 2, 1945 in Carlisle he was a son Betty Jean (Dunkle) Shughart of Carlisle and the late William N. Alspaugh.
Mr. Alspaugh was retired from Sprint, where he had worked as a Field Engineer. He was Methodist by faith and enjoyed trout fishing. Bill had also served in the Air Force during the Vietnam era.
Surviving are his wife: Susan (Walters) Alspaugh; two sons: Jason R. Alspaugh and his wife JoAnna, of Chambersburg and Brian R. Alspaugh and his wife Janet of Enola; two sisters: Kathy Gruver and Tina Louise Whitsell, both of Carlisle and a grandson: Joseph R. Alspaugh.
