WALLINGFORD – William McLean, 75, of Wallingford, departed this life on Saturday, January 8, 2011 at MidState Medical Center in Meriden. He was the loving husband of the late Carol (Rosenblum) McLean.
William was born on May 26, 1935, in Millinockett, ME, a son of the late Allen and Margaret (Barnett) McLean.
Previous to his retirement in 2000, he had been employed by Marlin Firearms. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. William was an avid sports fan who enjoyed following the New York Yankees and the UConn basketball teams.
