William Mack Milliron, 63, of Cassopolis, died Monday, February 4, 2013 in his residence surrounded by his family. He was born April 8, 1949, in Anguilla, Mississippi, to Wilfred and Lena (Salsbury) Milliron. He married Gloria Jane Potter on August 25, 1969 in Decatur, Michigan. She preceded him in death on September 29, 2010. He was also preceded by his parents and one sister, Mary Milliron.Mack loved staying busy. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandkids and enjoyed fishing and cookouts and camping. He liked traveling and sightseeing. He liked his coffee.

He and his wife loved going out for walks and continued to do so until they were physically unable. He loved his dogs, Scamper and Bella, who stayed at his side to the very end. Mack worked all of his life to take care of his family, retiring only because of health issues. He would do anything he could to help anyone, especially his kids.Mack will greatly missed by family and friends.

He is survived by three daughters, Linda (Delmer) Matheny, Carrie (Debbie Brown) Milliron, and Tina (Allen Adams) (Jeff) Tobias, all of Cassopolis; two nieces he and his wife raised as daughters, Mary (Trampis Ottman) Hunt and Jackie (fiance’ Scott Yoder) Hunt, both of Cassopolis; ten grandchildren, William (Rachael) Milliron, Kendra Milliron, Dakota Matheny, Kevin Lytle, Justin, Sarah, and Kody Matheny, Michael Hilyard, Kayla and Jennifer Tobias; two great grandchildren, Kaden Johnson and Emily Brooks; one sister, Helen Bull of Darian, New York; one brother Jim (Margaret) Milliron of New York, New York; sisters in law, Pat Fisher of Allegan, Brenda (Alvin) Schaffer of Cassopolis, Charlene Stahl of North Carolina and Lillian Lucille Halcumb of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; and two brothers in law, Charles (Carol) Potter of Cassopolis, and Michael (Alicia) Potter of Eau Claire.
