William Larry Isaacs
November 15, 1944 – November 16, 2016

William Larry Isaacs, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away Wednesday, 16 November 2016, at his home in Kaysville, from complications of end-stage renal disease. Larry was born 15 November 1944 in Springfield, Ohio, and was raised by William Roy and Louvenia Kinzer Isaacs. When Larry was six, his family moved to Ogden, Utah, and Larry grew up on Combe Road. In 1962, Larry met Nancy Cottrell and five years later married her on 16 March 1967. This marriage was later sealed in the Ogden Temple. Larry and Nancy had three wonderful children – William Keith, Sharon Lyn, and David James. The family started out in Ogden, but they moved to Roy in 1973 and happily stayed there until November 2016.

Larry graduated from Bonneville High School, class of ’62, and went on to attend Weber State. He worked for the old Dee Hospital, Browning Chevrolet, Utah Wholesale, Boyle-Midway, Gerber Products, and Rhodes Bake ‘n’ Serve. He hadn’t ever planned to be a salesman, but he found that he was perfect for that job. He loved the people he worked for and with.

Larry joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in February 1967 and served faithfully in every calling he was given. He loved the Gospel and his Savior Jesus Christ.

Larry is survived by his wife Nancy; son Bill and his wife Taryn, grandchildren Carson and Hadlee of Layton; daughter Sharon Swain and her husband Jonathan, grandchildren Scott and Katie of Kaysville; son Dave and wife Jenni, grandchildren Taryn, Tanille, and Jaden of Syracuse; brother-in-law Perry Cottrell and wife Becky and family; sister-in-law Virginia Shepherd and husband Scott and family; nieces Joyce, Donna, and Betty Jo and their families.

Our family would like to express our sincere appreciation to Dr. Miriam Nassif, Dr. N. Brent Williams, the staff at Farmington Bay Dialysis Center, and the staff at Thatcher Brook Rehab and Care Center, as well as the many doctors, nurses, and staffs who helped him so much in the last six years.
