He was a 50 year member of the First Presbyterian Church of Arlington, Kearny, where he served as a deacon and an usher. William was an Army veteran of the Korean War.
Surviving are his beloved wife of 53 years, Marie; his dear daughter, Jaime Mehler and her husband, Mark and grandson, Jacob. He was predeceased by his daughter Staci M. Snider.
