Mr. William L. Cassard, II, 88, of Lawrenceville, GA passed away December 14, 2014 at the Georgia Dome doing what he loved best with those he loved most – he and his sons watching his beloved Pittsburgh Steelers play football. Mr. Cassard was born March 11, 1926 in Buffalo, NY to the late Louis Cassard and Mildred Bell Wilson. He enlisted in the US Army Air Corps during World War II while still in high school. After the war ended he attended and graduated from American University in Washington DC. He worked in the life insurance business for the majority of his career before retiring in 1988. Bill was preceded in death by: his first wife, Romelle C. Cassard his second wife, Jean Anderson Winslow Cassard and his grandson William Pritchard. He is survived by: his sons, William L. Cassard III & his wife Elaine of Dunwoody, John S. Cassard & his wife Jennifer of Alpharetta; daughters, Romelle C. Hut of Lawrenceville, Biddy Labutka & her husband Bobby of Lake Worth, FL, Teesy Black & her husband Jeff of Cumming; brothers, Richard S. Cassard of Annapolis, MD, Louis L. Cassard of Fallston, MD, grandchildren, Eric Hut, Kyle Labutka and his wife Ashley, Cory Labutka, Patricia D’Andrea and her husband Chris; great grandchild, Leah Labutka; stepchildren, E. DeForest Winslow of LaGrange, Dey Parks of Newnan, Carol Rowley of Houston, TX; stepgrandchildren, Anderson Winslow, Leah Winslow, Pickens Parks, Eden Parks Tornfelt, Brett Rowley, Paige Rowley Jones, Caroline Rowley, step great grandchild, Isaac Tornfelt.
