Willliam K. Holbert, age 64, of Jones, died Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at his home.
He was born October 26, 1952 in South Bend, Indiana, the youngest of four sons born to Peter and Frances Holbert.
Bill served honorably in the U.S. Army. He was artistic, drawing with charcoal. He was also a talented woodworker, especially carving. He did beautiful work that he shared with family and friends.
Bill was an environmentalist and loved the outdoors.
Bill is survived by his brothers and sisters in law, Jack and Sandra Holbert of Vandalia, Patrick and Josephine Holbert of Bokeelia, Florida; and one sister in law, Diane Holbert of South Bend.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, James Dennis Holbert.
