William Joseph Bradlee, age 81, of Manassas, VA passed away Monday, November 27, 2017 at the Novant Health Prince William Medical Center. He was born on November 6, 1936 in Somerville, MA the son of the late Francis J. and Madeline F. (Lewis) Bradlee. He retired as a Lt Colonel from the US Army. He was a member of All Saints Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Loretta Bradlee. Survivors include his children, Denise A. Moser and husband Matt, Teresa A. Bradlee, Kathleen M. Ridenour and husband Dwayne, Daniel W. Bradlee, Sandra J. Brundage and husband Jason, Matthew J. Bradlee; brothers, Francis Bradlee and wife Gerry, Frederick Bradlee and wife Dorothy, Kevin Bradlee and wife Monica; sister, Annmarie Cusack and husband John; brother-in-law, Reverend Daniel M. Graham; grandchildren, Jesse Ridenour, Curtis Bradlee, Craig Brundage and Mary Brundage and many nieces and nephews. William was a devoted husband, loving father and loyal brother. He was a Computer programmer for many years at the Pentagon where he created and maintained countless programs for many entities, especially when the world wide web started booming. He enjoyed his work and long tenure as Army personnel. He was a member of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and a member of the Department of the Defense.
