William John Elliott Jr. passed away Sunday, April 27, 2014, peacefully surrounded by family at Golden Living Center in Fitchburg.
Bill was born in Hyannis, MA on December 17, 1931 to the late William John Elliott Sr. and Eleanor (Sears) Elliott. He attended school in Fitchburg. He later moved to Oklahoma and worked as a civilian at an Army Base there for many years. He later returned to Massachusetts and worked for Great American Chemical as a custodian.
He is survived by his sister Pauline Parisek of Rhode Island, his brother Ernie Spellman of Florida, his sister-in-law Betty Sears of Fitchburg, his children in Oklahoma, daughter Carol Veil, son’s John Elliott, Jimmy Elliott and his wife Kathy and Mario Elliott and his wife Lorene. 19 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren. His step children Bruce Gove of Ashby, Cindy Duval and her husband Ron of Leominster, Darlene Hayes and her husband James of Lancaster, a sister-in-law- Cookie and her husband Richard Tait of Leominster, 8 step-grandchildren, 11 step-great-grandchildren; several nieces an nephews.
Bill was predeceased by his wife of 40 years Barbara in February of this year, his son William III in January of this year, his step-daughter Brenda Gove, a brother Roy Sears, and his sister’s Lorraine Levier and Beverly Allen.
Bill loved music, he was the music man to all that knew him. He loved his teams Red Sox and Patriots. Bill most of all loved his family he was proud of all their accomplishments.
