William J. Myers, 56, Tipton, Indiana, formerly of Huntington, Indiana died at Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis, Indiana on Sunday, August 24, 2008 (6:54 PM). Death was a result of a train/car accident. Mr. Myers was born on September 30, 1951 in Huntington, Indiana to John William and Alberta Marie Teusch Myers. His parents preceded him in death. Mr. Myers was the manager of Huntington Lumber Yard for thirty years. Mr. Myers was a member of SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Huntington, IN.
He was a member of the American Legion, Tipton, Indiana. Survivors include: Two sons: Cory (Denise Renee) Myers, Huntington and William Myers Jr. Huntington, IN. One daughter: Kelly Myers, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Eight Grandchildren: Brinleigh, and Aven Myers, Ashley Sickler, Madison Bruner, Gabe and Skylar Ironmonger and Levi and Ashley Sowders. He is also survived by his fiancee Patty Jones, Tipton, Indiana. One Sister: Paula Phend, New Haven, Indiana Preceded in death by a Granddaughter, Julianna Alberta Myers (2007) and one sister, Sharon Kay Thomas.
