William J. Lodge, III, 77, of Toms River, NJ passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at home. Born in Newark, NJ, he lived in Hillside, NJ before moving to Toms River 28 years ago. Bill was a Warehouseman for GE in Newark, NJ for 25 years then for Fisher Scientific in Springfield, NJ for 15 years.
He was predeceased by his wife, Carolyn, in 2007 and his parents William Jr. and Catherine Lodge. Bill is survived by his fiancée Myrna Correll of Toms River, his three children William J. Lodge IV of Toms River, Lisa Marie Alaimo and her husband Gary of Holmdel, NJ, and Joseph Lodge and his wife Kathleen of Freehold, NJ, and five grandchildren William J. Lodge V, Kaitlyn Lodge, Joseph Lodge, Juliette Lodge and Gary Alaimo, Jr.
He is also survived by his fiancée’s sons and their children, who called him Grandpa Bill. Bill loved the Jersey Shore and fishing the Manasquan Inlet. He will be missed by all who loved him. Missy too!
