William J. Funk Sr., 84, of Terre Haute passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2016 in Clarksville, Tennessee at Grace Healthcare. He was born January 1, 1932 in Terre Haute, Indiana to James Alonzo Funk and Marie Engle Funk. He was a mechanic, who loved working on cars. William served in the US Army during the Korean War. He was the chauffer for the neighborhood and would give a lift to anyone who needed one. He was very good to his wife of 43 years. He devoted every second to her during the last ten years, when she was ill.
